WFSB & Stonehedge Landscaping and Garden Center’s Julie Harrison
Better Gardening Buddy
Julie Harrison, a landscape designer and estimator for Stonehedge Landscaping and Garden Center in Newington, has a flair for creative and imaginative designs that are infused with her own unique sense of style.
With a degree from the University of Connecticut in Horticulture and Landscape Design, Julie incorporates her vast expertise into every aspect of her work and takes great pride in creating gardens that not only look beautiful, but also blend in seamlessly with their surrounding environment.
All of her designs focus on creating sustainable and eco-conscious landscapes that can be enjoyed for generations and she knows that a good horticulturalist has to “get their hands dirty in order to get green.”
In addition to her appearances on Better Connecticut, Julie is a frequent guest on Len and Lisa’s show, Garden Talk on WTIC 1080.
When she is not busy designing landscapes for the people of Connecticut, Julie loves to work in her own gardens with her golden retriever, Woody.
